DEXTF updates
SPECTRE GRP, a specialized crypto research group, launched the XTF.SPECTR fund token on DEXTF. The XTF comprises 25% $LINK, 25% $eRSDL, 25% $DEXTF and 25% $LCX. You can invest in the fund and buy the token on Uniswap or the DEXTF Marketplace.
We hosted our first AMA on the DEXTF subreddit. Nicola and Federico answered a range of questions around competition, NFTs, plans for integrating into new chains etc. Head over to r/DEXTFOfficial to learn more.
LongHash VC wrote a great piece on Digital Asset Management and how DEXTF is a part of this exciting future. You can read the entire piece here. Here’s a short blurb:
“Web 3.0 has given the ability to anyone to be their own bank and Asset Manager … However, outside the cryptosphere, not everyone can or wants to be their own Asset Manager. Decentralized Asset Management solves for this, keeping the best elements of Web 3.0 while allowing the delegation of investment decisions that an investor may not be well-informed enough to make. This way, decentralized Asset Management opens up access to sophisticated financial products and crypto investing to anyone, regardless of who they are.”

$DEXTF vs XTF Tokens
Concept of the Week
🧺 XTF
An XTF simply represents a basket of different assets. When you buy 1 unit of an XTF, you’re buying a certain composition of different assets which make up that XTF. If you’re familiar with what an ETF is, then it’s exactly like that, but instead of a basket of stocks, XTFs are baskets of tokens. If you don’t know what an ETF is, here’s a good place to start. Let’s look at the Spectre Group Fund as an example of an XTF
The XTF.SPECTRE comprises 25% $LINK, 25% $eRSDL, 25% $DEXTF and 25% $LCX.
Buy $100 worth of this XTF, I’m basically buying $25 of $LINK, $25 of $eRSDL, $25 of $DEXTF and $25 of $LCX.
A simple question at this point is why can’t you just buy each token independently? There are a few reasons:
Just like ETFs, XTFs are a low effort way for you to diversify across various assets at a low cost.
XTFs are created by fund managers and each XTF represents a strategy. By investing into an XTF, you’re leveraging the fund manager’s expertise and building a strong portfolio of assets.
It’s cheaper to buy 1 XTF token instead of making 4 transactions (in case of the example above) thus saving you money on gas.
You can create your own XTF or buy from over 100 different XTFs on the DEXTF Dapp.
And that's it for this week! See you next week.
